Responsibilities

Assist production team with assembling of content.
Assist with the markup of web sites (HTML/XHTML).
Build layouts from concept designs (CSS).
Integrate Javascript and AJAX functionality.
Assist with Search Engine Optimization planning and implementation.

Qualifications

Be comfortable in a Mac OS X environment.
Ability to hand-code (no Dreamweaver, Front-Page, Go-Live, etc.).
Basic understanding of HTML/XHTML, CSS and Javascript/AJAX.
Simple test will be given to determine skill level, but not necessarily dependent for hire.
Ability to work with graphics and Photoshop a plus.
Has an eye for design (portfolio examples strongly encouraged).

Work Term

Position available for both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Applicants are not required for both semesters, but the company has the ability to extend an offer for the following semester.
10-20 work hours a week (with the possibility of more hours via offsite/telecommute)

Compensation

Hourly and/or Stipend available DOE.
